Expanding Your Horizons

Are you a female in STEM looking for a great volunteer opportunity? Workshop leaders are needed to help with the annual Expanding Your Horizons conference for middle school girls (grades 6-8). This day-long event will include hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). At the conference, girls will get a chance to meet STEM role models and learn more about career opportunities. Please email eyhnd@nd.edu or visit the EYH website for more information. The conference will be held on April 23, 2022.

You Be the Chemist

You Be the Chemist is an interactive academic contest that encourages 5th-8th grade students to explore chemistry concepts and their real-world applications. AWIS-ND partners with the Chemistry Graduate Student Organization to host the event in the St. Joseph County.
